The scientific research institute under his leadership is a unit specifically oriented to conduct scientific research, provide instructions to students with master degree and doctoral candidates, and it is also the doctoral discipline for Electric Power Plant Thermal Energy & Power Engineering. The major research and development direction of this institute is, ①Research on the energy conservation theory for fire power plants; ②Research on the diagnosis theory for fire power plants and expert system; ③Combined energy production and system research and development; ④Research on the process automation and computer control technology; ⑤Development of new energy-saving technologies for fire power plants; ⑥Research on the optimization and management of economic indexes in fire power plants.
