SERT - MST

In 2008, wholesale distribution company Sert UK PLC purchased MST Toiletries, which services over 6,000 retailers nationwide, with a view to amalgamating the businesses into one single operation which could service a huge customer based across the UK. Since its acquisition the new company, Sert-MST, has moved into a fresh 240,000sq.ft. warehouse in Swadlincote nr Birmingham and spent over ￡2million on new racking systems and improving speed and efficiency of operation. In addition to the improved warehousing facilities, Sert-MST operates its own fleet of 35 lorries to deliver to its members across the UK. The company has also launched a new, easy to use website providing an instant online ordering service for its customers, which should drive sales through its efficient ordering process. The company aims to reach a wider audience and provide an enhanced service to its existing customers, and with a turnover now in excess of ￡150million bringing with it increased buying power, a more cost effective operation and the ability to offer better offers.
