Global Maritime Agency was established in 1986, a year during which remarkable structural changes were taking place in the Shipping and Transport Industries. At that time, the Company's Management took advantage of the current trend and created Global Maritime Agency S.A. on a modern basis, flexible, and with the necessary infrastructure including information and communication technology, to meet customers' demands. The founders' previous experience in this field -in close cooperation with the Greek export Community as well as a number of collaborators abroad-, greatly contributed to the growth of the Company. As a result, Global Maritime Agency activities today cover the whole chain of Transportation from carriage of containerized cargo by Sea, to Road Transport and Airfreight consignments, totally supported by a sophisticated logistics system.
