U S 1 Tranzit, is a minority owned, small business transportation group founded in 1999 by Spencer Lyons, III an African-American male who has dedicated his time and efforts by expanding his involvement in various community programs. This will be their seventh consecutive year in full operation. Primary office is located in Detroit, Michigan. U S 1 Tranzit is currently provides short-haul, long haul and just-in-time operations nationwide. U S 1 provides door-to-door service for basically any load. State-of-the-art satellite vehicle tracking systems provided threw Qualcomm TRACS, a tool that allows the staff to monitor our customers 'at every turn'. The company holds 48-state General Commodities Authority, ICC Contract Motor Carrier, and Michigan Intrastate Authority.
