Cargo Services Far East was founded in Hong Kong in 1990 by Mr. John Lau. It started as an international freight forwarder which has grown to become a leading integrated logistics service provider. It has offices in 35 cities in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Brisbane, Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and Los Angeles, and has developed over the last 20 years a network of agents in over 80 countries which are established logistics and international freight-forwarding operators with their shareholders involved in the day-to-day management of the companies and subject to the systems, procedures and solutions of Cargo Services Far East. CS Logistics Holdings Limited, the holding company of Cargo Services Far East, has acquired Allport Limited, the biggest independent logistics operator and international freight-forwarder in the U.K., in December, 2010.
