1. What is your company’s background and journey so far? MTC LOGISTICS Inc. was established in 2025 as a logistics subsidiary of METACO inc., a leading Japanese manufacturer of pleated and roll-screen products. With the logistics expertise developed through years of supporting METACO’s domestic and export operations, MTC LOGISTICS now handles a wide range of international shipments. We aim to combine the reliability of Japanese logistics with the flexibility needed to meet diverse global needs. 2. What do you enjoy most about working in logistics? We love that logistics connects people, ideas, and industries across borders. Every shipment presents a new challenge — and finding efficient, creative solutions gives us a sense of achievement. It’s rewarding to see how our work supports clients’ business growth around the world. 3. What’s one shipment or project you’ll never forget? One memorable project involved coordinating the export of oversized machinery that required a special flat-rack operation. It demanded careful planning, route adjustment, and communication with both the port and overseas partners to ensure everything moved smoothly. The experience reminded us that precision and teamwork are the foundation of every successful shipment. 4. What are your goals or plans for the future? With strong financial support from METACO, our goal is to expand our logistics network beyond Europe to all regions. We are gradually increasing our handling of temperature-controlled shipments, including fresh produce, chemical materials, and hazardous cargo, while continuing to strengthen our project cargo capabilities. In the future, we aim to participate in tender-based logistics projects and ODA-related shipments, contributing to both commercial and developmental logistics on a global scale. Ultimately, we aspire to be recognized as a logistics partner that embodies Japanese reliability and global adaptability.
