APPL Containers Limited was established in 2021 with a vision to become the most valuable and reliable shipping container provider in the global multimodal logistics industry. Recognized as one of India’s leading container manufacturers, the company emerged following the Government of India’s announcement to develop Bhavnagar,Gujarat as a major container manufacturing hub under the “Make in India” initiative. The company successfully developed its prototype shipping container manufacturing facility in 2021. In September 2022, the Honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, inaugurated India’s shipping container manufacturing initiative, reinforcing the nation’s commitment towards self-reliance under the vision of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat and the Make in India campaign. Today, APPL Containers Limited has an annual production capacity of 15,000 containers, contributing significantly to strengthening India’s domestic manufacturing capabilities and reducing dependence on imports in the container industry.
