In response to a direct request from Ethiopian Airlines and the Ethiopian Customs Commission, Safe Zone Logistics was officially established in August 2020. The company was created specifically to address the critical need for professional and reliable warehousing services at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport. Safe Zone Logistics operates the only bonded warehouse inside the airport premises. This facility is strategically located at the cargo terminal for handling mail and courier shipments, while also providing dedicated services at Bole International Airport for passenger baggage that has been held by customs for further inspection and clearance.
